MSN indexing question.

    Does anybody know why MSN would index the https:// version of a URL?

    For the same reason they index pages excluded by robots.txt and want to buy yahoo.... They have no clue of what they're doing... ;-)

    just look at google search for inurl:https://
    Results 1 - 100 of about 205,000,000 for inurl:https://

    its not just msn that does this perhaps there is a reason :)

    Yeah, do a search for the keyword "wholesale" and you'll see https://www.toptenwholesale.om ranked #9 or 10 on the first page. Go to the second page and you'll see the correct version of the URL listed there too.

    I just checked. They pulled the https version, but the other one is still on the second page.

    MSN is so easy to index for. Few weeks you can get indexed for top generic keywords.

    its easy submit your home page and sitemap page in msn live space submit form box. give url and type code and submit. done
