I don't take the keyword suggestion tool as the exact amount of hits for a term but just as a way to see what term is more popular so I know what to target. For example it tells me the term binding machine is more popular than spiral binding machine and it should then give me more traffic than the latter.

I have first position in MSN for keyword which by Wordtracker has 100 searches daily, I don't get any MSN traffic for this.
It is easy to rank in MSN but traffic is not existant compared to Google.

Wordtracker is not very accurate. I have used it. Use the adcenter research tool instead.

Think demographically about who uses Google and who uses MSN and you might gain some insight.

Google = more technically-inclined people, webmasters, etc.

MSN = People who use "whatever search engine the computer came with." ;)

With Steve Berkovitch joining MSN, amazon dropping google, alexa powered by msn and IE7 built in msn, google will no doubtably lose a nice chunk of its market share while msn will see a considerable boost.

Also note that when something is so wide spread it simply leaves no room for other companies to grow, and that is why google has grown so large. However, with the major things happening mentioned above you will see that change fairly shortly.
