MSN group chat script?

    Firstly, I'm not even sure how to accomplish this, and I'm not sure where I should post this. If there is a more suitable area for this thread, then my apologies, but feel free to move it there. (mods)

    Ok, I would like to know how to create an MSN group where users can simply add the group's email address to their contact list and from there all members can send instant messages to the group, which all members will receive. I've been a member of a group like this in the past, but I just don't know how to set it up.

    I tried to create a group on msn (click here to see that group) but I can't figure out the instant messaging part.

    I posted something on another forum, and one answer I received mentioned something about possibly needing a script that would "sends messages from certain emails to certain emails."

    I know that there is a way to do this, but after spending an entire day searching for a solution I came up empty handed. Any help with this would be greatly appreciate. If you can either point me in the right direction, or develop such a script that is secure I would be extremely thankful. If you require payment to develop such a script feel free to post in this thread saying how much that would cost.

    I can only make payments by paypal, so if you can't accept paypal and you would charge for such a script, then I guess we are both out of luck.

    Thanks for taking the time to read my thread, and I really hope someone can help me. I've spent way too much time on this, and I'm desperate to find a solution and put this behind me.

    For this you'd need to work with the MSNP(Microsoft Notification Protocol). But as far as i know, it doesn't support group chats.

    Anyways good luck with the project.

    Hmm, well maybe the way I described the script is not correct, but all I know is that it is possible to add one email address (the group's email) and then if you send a message to that 'contact' all other members who added the group's email to their contact list will receive a message. ;)

    Haha, like I said, I've been a member of such a group before, so I am 100% sure it is possible to achieve, I just don't know how it is done. :cool:
