MSN getting smarter?

I've noticed lately that I am being beat from my top spot on MSN by my competition. Authority sites that are in the top 10 on Google are starting to creep up on MSN. Thousands of backlinks no longer do it for me. Anyone else notice MSN getting smarter lately?

Yeah I'm seeing something similar ... huge sitewides don't cut it like they used to.

Unique content with clean / optimized urls still works though. :)

Yea, me too. I noticed this just the other day when I was checking for a search phrase I had high on MSN before, but on about page 5 now.

My pda review site still #1 for pda review...and this site got to #1 within 3weeks....

and my logo design site is #4 for logo design...

I don't see any serp movement....

Maybe it's because I update contents and hunting for backlink all the time....

I think if you work,,,It all the search engine will give you what you want and what you reserve...
