MSN dropping internal links if you have adsense

Hi,

Have you guys have pages where in msn starting to build up to 40000 links. using command domainname.+com.... then when you start using adsense it will stop and keep dropping until 20000 links as of now.. looks like it will keep dropping every day. until .... the end...

I doubt that would be true due to the sheer number of sites on the internet using adsense. If MSN did that, it's index would be pretty sparse.

 

I am not seeing any dropped pages / links due to adsense.

 

Additional note may be specific for new site. I am still experimenting by adding and taking out adsense automatically in the range of 3-4 weeks times. But it might or might not be true since there are a lot of others factor involved

 

i didnt check my status before adsense but after adsense my sites are doing better in msn ofcourse it doesnt have any connection but i dont think there is also an opposite effect.

 

I sincerely doubt if there is any correlation between the presence of AdSense and MSN back link. All pages in my all websites have AdSense running and they seem to be doing just fine in MSN. In fact, MSN show many of those pages as back link.

 

After tracking for 1 month. from the internal links of 40000 drop to 20000 now going up again to 25000. So it's seem like at the time I put adsense on 40000, msn adjusting it's link indexes. so that's why it dro to 20000. So, it is lucky timing. Now, since it is going up again then there is no correlation between adsense and MSN.

it's good can have a testing over 1 month time to prove it.

The new MSN bot used to hammer our site non stop untill we put up text ads on a lot of our pages. It seems that as soon as we did that, it droped it's visits by about 90% and it droped about 70% of the indexed pages it used to have.

Very weird.

 

You must have done something other than that to cause a drop in visits. I noticed a drop after MSN beta went live as the new MSN search but it wasn't a huge drop.

 

I also found my backlinks getting dropped drastically and then started increasing again.

 

MSN hits our site about 4 times a day. I can't figure out why it comes so often. I've been taking advantage of it however and trying to have some changes each day it comes back.
