MSN Doesn't spider .blogspot (blogger) pages !

I've got two blogs on blogspot. One is seven months old, the other is 3 months old. Both blogs are fully indexed in Yahoo and Google, but MSN only has one post indexed for the seven-month-old one, and still nothing for the 3 month old one!

Does MSN intentionally 'miss' Blogger.com blogs? Maybe because Blogger is owned by Google?

Do others out there have blogspot(blogger.com) blogs indexed by MSN? How long did it take?

I got a blog that MSN has picked up, and it did it rather fast also. Probably took about 1 to 2 weeks. But it's probably because they key words are in the domain.

    Good luck.

    Meaningfully both are the same.

BTW my blogs were listed (indexed) by MSN in just a few days!!!
And they top for certain keywords search.

From my humble experience I can tell that MSN is in love with blogger... it crawls everywhere there  Perhaps you can just put a link from an indexed blog to that being currently not indexed, and within a day MSN will index in as well. Then you may remove the link.

That right. You should have a link from a popular website pointing to your site. That will increase the crawl rate

Have you considered some sort of deep linking scheme? Do you have any conventional sitemaps?

Both have several incoming links, and deep-links.

i'm not all that worried about it because based on my other sites, the amount of traffic that i'm missing from MSN is minscule. I was just curious why TWO blogs on Blogger, created months apart, with inbound links STILL arent indexed by MSN.. I was beginning to think it was part of MSN's plot to bring down Google, by not including any of Google's stuff in their index.

    No! you blog doest suck!

Read through the SEO articles for blogspot...

My blogspot was picked up by msn........I think its because many other bloggers linked to my blog which determines the PR.

So you can try that :)

There have been some very spammy blogspot blogs ranked for high traffic terms on msn, including number one for "real estate". It seems to me that periodically they penalize blogspot blogs also. I could be wrong, but I've seen a lot of blogspot blogs drop dramatically just to come back 3 weeks later just to where they were before.

I realize we've established that this theory isn't true, but just to add further proof, three of the top five MSN results for ambatchdotcom seocontest are .Blogspot blogs (mine is number five ;) )

For MSN bot to revisit your site, I would highly recommend to use robot.txt in your blogs.
