I don't get many hits from them, but I had never used it before
    http://beta.search.msn.com
Is it kuind of like a google data centre?

Has anyone used it yet and what do you think?

By the way there is a handy tool to check your web site's ranking in MSN Beta Search: http://www.devppl.com/msnbetarankings.php

I'm starting to think some time in the next year its going to get a lot hard to please msn search

i use msn beta search api's on one of my sites. I dont know if its related to that ie. microsoft i believe have a set of dedicated servers servicing there beta search api's (search engine api's). The site you mentioned may be the search engine front end to those servers..

The api's are good and the responses are pretty good too. There seems to be less spammy sites in the results returned and the best bit is that there are no adverts (you can virtually create your own search engine and add your own advertising/publishing solution ontop of it)..

Theres a limit of 10,000 queries and anything on top of that is purchasable (but being beta i dont think its enforced)
