MSN Beta is punishing the co-op..(possibly)

Discussion in 'Co-op Advertising Network' started by webdesignlist, Dec 12, 2004.

I had gotten all of my targeted phrases to #1 on the MSN beta search engine by using the cop-op in the past few weeks - both for my site and some others - some extremely competitive too...

but now they have ALL dissapeared - all on different IP addresses, so its not a server thing - and the sites are all totally different too.

Each and every site has dropped off the map..

Please can some others do some similar tests.

    Many thanks.

McDar's experimental page shows up in position 18 for sleeping bags. There seems to be some confusioin whether co-op ads are running currently or not.

    No change here either.

Still first page for most of my keyword phrases and #1 for my main phrase.:)

I'm #1-#5 for all my key phrases I'm targetting using the network... probably something else that got you gone from MSN.

    hmmmm

its strange tho how the 2 sites that have not had the coop treatment are still in their original positions on msn beta....

could be just a giant fluke i suppose? i hope so as i think the coop network is fantastic

Personally the way that the links are embedded in your site I think it would be VERY difficult to filter them out from a search engine algorithm perspective.
