Anyone else noticed that MSN reports different backlink counts for domain.com and domain.com/index.html? Check it out - [IMG]

Anyone have any insight on this? How and why???

Interesting, maybe msn see index.htm as a standalone page, not the home of the domain in calculating backlinks.

Found the answer - http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/seo-advice-url-canonicalization/. It does see them as two different pages. Need to 301 domain.com/index.html to domain.com.
