Does the link's PR matter with the MSN searchengine? For example does a page with 0 PR count the same as a PR 5 page or does it place more weight on the link from the PR 5 page. Thanks
Almost all search engines will have their own 'version' of PR, they may call it something else but all of them give some weight to backlinks.
Thanks for the replies. I was just wondering if the PR of a page would matter with MSN. Seems that the backlinks will matter, but is it worth the time to go after high PR links or are 0 PR pages given the same weight? I guess according to MSN Loophole by Dave Kelly (Linkvana) it does saying that he mentions high PR outgoing links if I recall. Thanks
From my own experience, MSN and Yahoo are not as picky as to the type of back links you have, they seem to favor quantity over quality, However, I would still go for quality (relevant) wherever possible and don't get hung up on PR, as long as it's relevant all 3 search engines will love it.
