I set my maximum bid at $0.25 yet they jack my bids up to an average of $1.6. My campaign budget was set at $30 but they end up charging me $60! Worse of all, not a single sale! I've already emailed them, now waiting for reply. Just to warn you guys so that you won't end up like me.
Here's what msn adcenter replied: Upon reviewing your email it is my understanding that you have tried to set your max CPC to $0.01 and you are being charged $1.00 a click. I would be more than happy to clarify this for you. The minimum bid for a keyword is $0.05. It seems like the system took the $0.01 that was entered and changed it to $1.00. I looked over all three of the orders and see that the first two orders have the max CPC set to $0.10 and the third order have the max CPC set from the lowest of $0.10 to the highest of $6.98. I looked over the billing statement and see that you are only being charged $34.00 for the third order, you were originally going to be charged $72.23 at $1.09 a click; however there were adjustments of 38.23 leaving you at a total of $34.00. You can view this by going to the Accounts and Billing tab and then select the billing tab and the end. My daily limit was $30 & they exceeded it! Talk about being unprofessional!
Stuff happens, dont sweat it, yahoo search marketing went 100.00 over my budget because i recieved them in a matter of 30 seconds. It then shutdown. 4.00 over i wouldnt even care about.
Msn isnt bad traffic, msn is actually very good traffic because they are normally from windows and dont know anything about computers, Depending on what you are marketing you could do very well with it.
