MSN = 0 Traffic??

Is going after MSN traffic a good SEO strategy? I have a 4-5 sites that are ranking on the first page and am not seeing any traffic to my site? Here is one of my sites that is ranking #1:

Overture Searches: 69,393
MSN searches: 676
MSN Ranking: #1

I have been #1 now for 2-3 weeks, and have not seen any traffic at all? Any ideas?

I am tracking my traffic stats with Google Analytics and Webalizer on my Cpanel, neither one show any sign of traffic?

Is MSN a good SEO Strategy?

WEll i don't rank number 1 but i get traffic for my blog still waiting for google rankings

MSN sends me nothing. Probably about 3% of my traffic comes from there..

 

I don't get much traffic from MSN either. Major referrals are Google and Yahoo.

Noticed the same thing with MSN, almost no traffic from them. Less than 1% of total searches.

 

Same here, many of my websites ramks higher on MSN but hardly any traffic comes.

Depends on the keywords I guess. Google and Yahoo are still way better, but I am getting a decent ammount of traffic from MSN as well

 

I get a decent amount of traffic from MSN. Not as much as Google though.

 

Has anyone ever run a test and SEO'ed a site just for MSN? If so, any conclusive results?

 

i wish i get traffic. from MSN too. I haven got any coming into mine.. probably too new.

 

For MSN SEO keywords "Best weight loss program" is useless, your only hope is to opt for "weight loss".

Nobody exactly knows how to opt for MSN, it sometimes happens by chance ;blink;

 

msn has never really given me much traffic either, aim for google takes longer but is definetly worth it

i get some 0.5 % to 1 % of traffic which google gives me

 

Yes i have also personally experienced this. MSN traffic to sites are very less. May be purely because people use Google / Yahoo! search more than MSN.

 

for some of my sites i get a good amount of traffic from MSN, its valuable, seems to convert best for me in adsene...

and also how dod you get how manY "MSN SEARCHES" take place///

I dont think you can use overture to find good key phrases for MSN I believe it really only works with yahoo and google. Because what might be popular key words on those search engines may not be the case with MSN.... just a thought im not totally sure on this.

 

If you want to target MSN traffic try celebrity related keywords

never mind msn.Msn can send only 2-3 visitors in a day.Try for being upper place on google always .
