    MS SQL DB hwo to convert .mdf/ldf file to .bak file

    I have windows based hosting(new)

    the hosting people asking for .bak file

    i have .mdf and .ldf log file

    how can i convert the db to bak file

    They need to be attached to an sql server then you can create a backup (.bak) inside Sql Server Managment Studio. (right click tasks backup).
