MS Gives Up to $10 to Clients Who Use Live Search Instead of Google

Wow, that's kind of pathetic. Having to pay to use the search engine? I like google the best, there are all these ask.com featured search engines that are just horrible.

 

Maybe they should give up and they be king of something else

I like msn I wish more people would use it - Some of my sites rank really high on it .

 

If a company does that their employes would not find their needs and the company would go to bankruptcy does ms pays that ,too
Live should use their budget to get us more relevant results , google has lost some reputation these days they can get some market share.

If MSN's search engine became as accurate as google's then I'd have no problem using it.

 

I like google the best, but I would use live search if I was getting paid to use it.

 

You couldn't pay me enough to use Live. Their search results are horrible. Just look up "make money online" there... They have so many scams on the front page (e.g. cash4offers, ez-money, money mall) lol. At least Google lists blogs like Carlo Cab, Dosh Dosh, etc.. I wonder how you could find anything relevant on that search engine

I'm curious, does anyone know how this has worked out for them? Anyone being forced to use it at work? I guess most of you are probably self-employed though anyway which rocks.

 

This reminds me of when ATT was sending $75 checks to switch to its long distance service. lol

I remember cashing those checks and switching to another provider a month later. Not long after that, ATT was sending more checks to switch.

I would never force my employees to use Live Search. Live's results suck, and the fact that they have to pay people to use its search engine is proof of that.
