    You should go to the Absolute Freebies forum - you can get help there, that's the MrRat script support forum.

    But basically, the MrRat script can't easily be used the way you are thinking. It has a set of templates, (the .tpl files) and you can then build a site around them, it's not so easy the other way around - it kind of works best as a a stand-alone store. If you want to insert products into an existing site, you have to write some of your own code to do that, or if you are using Joomla, use Dean Marshall's APF Bridge plugin.

    You CAN do something like this in your code:

    <?php include ('http://www.yoursite.com/cgi-bin/apf4/amazon_products_feed.cgi?SearchIndex=Apparel');?>

    ...but you would have to be a programmer to go that route...

    The easiest way is to cough up the money for an Associate-o-matic standalone store (site seems to be down at the moment). Actually, I think you can use this free if you share revenue with the authors. This creates a fully-featured Amazon store which is pretty powerful. Or if your demands are modest, you can create an AStore - you can insert it in your pages whatever CMS you are using, but the downside is it won't get indexed as part of your site, so extra content is essential.

    But whatever option you go for, you are always going to have to customise things yourself - it's no good just putting up an Amazon store and hoping it gets noticed among all the other identical ones. I tried it as an experiment, and didn't sell a sausage in months! So you need to choose a niche, customise the template, add original content, attract customers with added features, etc. etc.... There is no instant solution for earning money with Amazon, even with the best script.

    Thank you markowe.

    Thanks a lot for the suggestions.

    I would go with Associate-o-matic and will give a try if works for me.

    Why not - get the free version, customise it, run it for a few months and see how it goes. If it starts earning money, buy the commercial package and it should pay for itself very quickly!

    Good luck!

    I have not tested either and don't know anything about ecommerceforeveryone but AOM is certainly the better-known. They look pretty similar to me, I think they both do what they are supposed to, you just have to decide which one suits you.

    Yes, I have a APF-Joomla Bridge based site, but it's too embarassing to publish here! It's quite hard work getting it all looking good, but this would be another good (and free) solution. There are some disadvantages, like it doesn't allow for SEF urls and again, you need to tinker with the templates quite a bit.
