OK I've just got this dilema now, that a client of MR host has contacted me becasue of the fact that they belive that I have hacked they're radio station. Right, I am not sure what is going on? But I never hacked anything This client has said that he has printed copies of emails sent to him. What do you make of this?!?!?
Yes, as I am not sure, I've emailed him asking for evidance and he said he'll email me back tomorrow.
Most likely this is just another spam mail. But from what the email sounds like, then the host is telling this person 5 minutes after his radio station was setup, then someone (you) hacked the radio station and messed everything up.. If this is coincident, then the host has been extremely unlucky at the time the hacker decided to hack them. Or, the host is a pure scam and they try to get away with it by blaming a possible hacker. None the less, then you are not the one to blame
Do you know or have you ever been friends with anyone from Mr-host.com? A possibility could be that their poor management team unsuccessfully set up a shoutcast radio account for that client and decided to blame you out of revenge or spite. If you did not do anything then you have nothing to worry about.
Those scammers are just wasting their time. Perhaps they have nothing else to do. You can also try researching them on search engines like Scam Search to see their real score.
No, they're compettitors, I never spoke to this "mathrew" (the owner) of Mr-host! And this is what I get?
Haha, if your a competitive host then it's pretty sure that they are trying to scare you a bit. But if you have never been in touch with the owner of Mr-Host, then i find it difficult to believe that he would try to scare one out of a hundred different competitors. Unless it's someone you know or had a discussion with previously under a different name? (He has changed it?)
