    Sons of #@%@$@# lol
I got a DMCA email sent to my isp godaddy and godaddy shut me down. They said If I remove the offending content they will put my site back up. So Im just waiting for ftp access now. This was in regards to links to copyrighted material on btjunkie and other torrent sites.

Has anyone had this happen before? By the same logic shouldnt they be shutting down google.com?:D

Cease and Desist orders are fun. Sad you got shut down though. Try getting a server in a foreign country where the laws on torrents are minimal.

So you should host your Torrent Site basically in Ukraine or Sweden where most of the torrent sites are hosted..

Yes. China, Ukraine, Sweden...all good places to start. Just try to not get servers in a country close to the United States or United Kingdom.

hmm MPAA are not small, its just not something i would carry on doing. In the news paper a few months ago there was a person who got a DMCA then changed his host to sweden and because he lived in the Uk he is now doing 3 years behind bars....

It is getting messed up in Canada too. They want a cop to be able to have a look thru your laptop if you have it out in public. Or looked thru at the border. Crazy! Ive never hosted any files so I dont think they would go that far with me.
