MP3 recording question??

I am technologically old-fashioned, i.e. I do not yet have an mp3 player.

Anyway, I had an awesome college professor, and I have someone who will tape his classes for me, with permission, and I will pay her a bit of $. (Because I feel like my brain is disintegrating since I left school... need some intellectual stimulation!)

I was about to buy her a tape recorder and loads of blank tapes, when I started to wonder- is there a way she could digitally tape the class onto an mp3 player??

    Thanks!

Right. There are a number of voice recorders available that will record directly to MP3, and connect to the PC via a USB port to transfer the files. Works great for that purpose.
