MP3 player with adjustable speed control

I got my sister an iPod for christmas, and recorded an album to mp3. The album plays a little fast when on her computer.

Is there any freeware or cheap software out there that lets you control the speed of the playback? I'm hoping to find something simple that I can just have her download and play from.

Does iTunes let you adjust the playback speed? I don't see any option in there.

I had a friend record it to MP3 and he's a DJ and I think he had it spinning a little faster than normal. My sister tells me that it's fine in the iPod, but fast on her computer. Wierd.

But it's my Dad's album and she's really tuned in as to what it should sound like. It was recorded in the early 1970's and the original masters have been missing for a long time - so all I have is the Vinyl.

I bet there's a winamp plugin out there or something. I used to have some dj software that allowed me to vary the speed, but 1) I can't find it. and 2) if I could, it would be way too complex for my sister.

Winamp should definently work. I remember back when I used it. It had all those things you can move around.

you can even adjust speed with wmp :)

you can change the speed of a mp3 with dbpoweramp (just search for goole or something) and convert it to mp3 with a lower (or higher i knew once -> a year ago or something :) ) sample hz.
