Earphones only seem to be lasting 3-4 months for me before they manage to wear down and stop working. It's the cheap Walmart stuff, but it's getting annoying having to replace my pair. Are Bose earphones pretty durable? Any other brands worth looking at?
How exactly do you 'wear down' earphones? The only time I've ever broken earphones is when I fall asleep with them in, and then tangle myself up in them during the night. Personally, I think Bose stuff is crap. The best earphones I've got are Shure e2cs - they sound amazing, and are still working after a few years. I wear them mountain bike riding, so they get a fair bit of abuse. I recently bought some FAKE Sennheiser CX300s on eBay for $20, and they sound fine. Not in the league of the Shures, but well worth $20. Maybe try some of them, they seem to be excellent value, even if they aren't the real deal.
