    Firefox 2 sucks!
buggy... memory problems, hangs with no reason and crashes. Uninstalled... back to 1.5 or maybe IE7.
    Sad :(

yes, FF 2.0 sucks bad... random crashes every 10 minutes. I'd like to go back to FF 1.0 as 1.5 also had issues.

Are the crashes occuring on Windows or Mac? I get issues on my work WIN XP Pro PC, but no issues on Mac. I'm wondering whether to run that install routine just yet ...

I'm running FF2 on WinXP Pro SP2 and am having no problems not even with memory. I haven't shut Firefox down for two or three days now, have been keeping between 12 - 20 tabs open all the time and Firefox is only using around 100,000K of memory (much less than FF1.5 after two days).

Also I'm beating the tar out of Firefox and its DOM inspector as I'm deep into HTML coding and have been tweaking my custom theme (see sig link below) when I need a break.

One problem with stability I used to have with Firefox 1.5 was actually being caused by flash ads. I found adding the extension Flashblock, which replaces flash objects with a play button, greatly reduced my problems. Basically some flash based banner ads have become too complex and are poorly coded. As a result some flash ads can cause serious problems.

i think it was rc1 that crashed all the time for me.went back to beta2 and all is fine.
i dont care if FF is final,b2 works for me.
i would rather use IE  then go back to 1.5.
that copy/paste bug that they would never fix, bugged the hell out of me.

Although a lot of my extensions don't work any more, I have no other problems.
