It's ALL real world testing. One of my sons likes and uses Firefox - he thinks it's faster on his laptop - same internet connection - same OS - same phone lines - different computer.

On Windows, yes, because it's half loaded when the OS loads. That doesn't mean it runs faster for everyone. And even that's probably not true for Mac users.

When I use my iBook, I almost take a lunch or do something else while firefox loads up.. It takes between 10 seconds and 2 minutes. Thank god that I also have a PC :)

The Features Are Changed in Opera but Not Suited to my choice :(

That's what's so wonderful about having a choice. You get to use what you prefer. I get to use what I prefer. :D

Actually, firefox is a great browser, based on my favorite mozilla core.
but the only problem I have with firefox is its memory utilization, I have windows PCs, and FF takes a hell lot of memory, if you open multiple tabs, and worst it doesnt release them even if you close the main browser window.

IE works better for me, but the browser of my choice, Opera.

Well the important thing is that you tried it out. I don’t know why so many people prefer FF over Opera, I guess it’s just the way things are. :)

You need to absorb and use the features that comes with opera. That's a big part in the Opera feeling :)
