Symantec: Mozilla browsers more vulnerable than IE September 19, 2005 By Tom Espiner, ZDNet (UK) Full article here
this is sort of related to ur thread - do u find that ad-watch doesnt work with firefox...it doesnt seem to work for me. Why?
Well attacks are focused on IE because still around 80% or maybe more of users use IE. Maybe when more users use mozilla browsers, more vulnerabilities will be out
Somehow, I see this as one of the reasons for that case. I have been using mozilla for almost 7 months now and I really observed some problems when it comes to security.
well i am using mozilla for almost five months. but now mozilla sucks problems like some time mozilla crashes or some thing like that.... now i think i have to move back to IE
Of course Firefox is "more secure", if you look at the issue from the angle that spammers, etc rather target IE. Firefox is more secure in that the bugs haven't been found yet, but they will eventually. Won't get me to change my browser, I love Firefox, faults and all.
