Moving your blogger account to a domain

    hey,
    Can I just buy the domain and move my account to that, but still have the blogger account/free hosting e.t.c? And can i still keep the .blogspot dmain too?

    Once you buy the domain, the best thing to do if you want to continue using Blogger would be to get your own host and allow Blogger to post to your host via ftp. When you do this, the blogspot site doesn't go away, however, new posts will only show up on your new domain.

    If you buy a domain but do not register a new host, i.e still keeping the blogger host the your myname.blogspot.com will automatically redirect to myname.com meaning that you will not lose your visitors.
