Moving wordpress blog

    My wordpress blog was 1.5.1.3 when i did the export from phpmyadmin

    and now i wish to import it on wordpress 2.7.1 which i installed using fantastico but it doesnt work. it gives me below error amongst others :

    #1062 - Duplicate entry '1' for key 1

    I would be thankful if anyone can guide me or help me out of this mess.

    its because the new install has an admin user (id 1) as well as post id 1 etc, your better off re-installing wordpress but have it connect to your old database rather then a fresh one, then let wp upgrade the tables etc.
