We are in internet business and we would like to move to off shore place to have more relaxing working conditions and to be tax free (we won't do business with off shore).
Our factors in choosing right place are:
    -best company formation conditions
    -lowest living costs
-relaxing enivornment but still with good internet structure and some places for party

Which off shore place would you recommend us?

    Thank you

Does not matter wether country tax free. You just live there as tourist and only go to bank couple times a month for withdraw money :)
In Your native country you became non resident (due to long living behind borders) - so can not pay taxes too (but your country may have different laws)

I probably wouldn't apply for residency in some of these places. Get a condo or house and be on "vacation" for the rest of your life hehe

by tax free I mean company tax free, not personal incoming tax. I found some places which are off shore so are tax free for company:
    Costa Rica
    Turks & Caicos
    St. Vincent
    St. Lucia
    St. Kitts
    Nevis
    Panama
    Grenada
    Dominica
    Curacao
    Cayman Isl.
    Bermuda
    Belize
    Barbados
    Bahamas
    Aruba
    Antigua
    Anguilla

Yes, they are mostly in Caribean area :) I will do now research which one of those countries has lower living costs. Im I very seriously about that. If anybody else has similar purposes we can exchange some information and experiences.

    good list
Southeast asian countries seem like they would fit that requirement, but I'm not sure. Maybe vietnam, laos, and cambodia... but there internet is probably a bit too slow for you

Belize (from your list) used to be a low-cost, little known paradise, but...

...Survivor (yuck, the lame but very popular 'reality' show) made them semi-famous.

    Hi ernest1a

I'm from Barbados and we have quite a few offshore companies here and most of them are unknown to us but in terms of cost of living, Barbaods is a high priced destination, the villas, condos, resorts, hotels even guest houses etc. Most of the High price destinations are on the west coast along with gated communities tennis courts and pools all over the place. The south coast is made up of many hotels and guest houses and the party life is very lively down there.

Barbados was the host of the Golf World Cup 2006 and the recent Cricket World Cup 2007 finals were hosted on the Island. That alone would give you an idea of it status. In respect of setting up an offshore business i'm not totally sure so i would refer you to the Portals.

I just googled offshore business in barbados and i found this:

For internet services I would suggest TeleBarbados

I believe Jamaica is a another good alternative in your search for offshore business but your best bet is to search google. I can't speak for Jamaica sorry. Hope i was helpful.

    BTW our currency is BDS$1.98 = US$1

I suggest you incorporate in Panama where company income produced offshore are given non-existent taxes, lease inexpensive yet quality offshore office staff services from the Philippines where the professionalism of the workers and the efficacy of its managerial systems are at par with the top industrialized nations of the world, and live for the rest of your life in a tropical paradise such as, again, the Philippines where cost of living standards are low ($1 = Php46; cost of daily living per family of 4 = Php1000 or $22; Manila and Quezon City offer world-class clubbing and hotel amenities; internet connectivity is fast; and 75% of the Philippine population is composed of fluent English-speaking people who are all Westernized in terms of lifestyle and culture to the point of being a subcultural nation of the US).

of course there are also nice places in Asia but plane tickets would be to expensive. Caribean is very reachable from US or EU.

Belize, Panama or Costa Rica seems most likely. But I am hearing every time different story. I have heard that Costa Rica is cheaper than Panama, than another story made point that Panama is cheaper. Some people also say Belize.

If anybody has any thought it will be helpfull.

    Thanks

Well I can say jamaica has a good enough conversion rate of j$68=1USD. The telecom market is booming and and access to most american services are readily available.

So you could look into that.

I would give Costa Rica an edge over Belize and Panama.
CR is more politically stable, better health care system and better communication infrastructure.
In the future, I plan on relocating to Dominica. There is a growing number of internet based businesses, great weather and people.
