Basically I have my domain http://www.hyperphotocube.com which is currently set-up as a blog. I am shifting aspects of my business away from blogging on photography to actually providing photography services. [Reason: More money for me] In order to do that I am using a pre-made website with print&digital client fulfillment capabilities run by a third party [Reason: I can focus on photography and not dealing with printing]. I want www.hyperphotocube.com will basically redirect to the new site http://hyperphotocube.zoomphoto.ca But there are a few high traffic pages where it is better for me to redirect elsewhere (like to the other website I have on the equipment with the review. I found narrowing my landing pages and sites to only one related equipment only rakes in 100 times the revenue). I'm wondering if there is an easy way of doing that, its only 5 pages out of the bunch. Thanks in advance.
If you are using the Apache webserver you can create a .htaccess file (or edit it ) and insert a redirect for each page. This is done with mod_alias or mod_rewrite. You find more info here. The easiest way is to put a line for every redirect in your .htacces file. It looks like this Redirect 303 /folderxyz http://otherhost/otherfolder Code (markup): Redirect 303 /filexyz.html http://otherhost/otherfile.html Code (markup):
