Moving to Wordpress.. Will it gonna help me?

    I am currently blogging on blogspot. My blog is new six months old. I am thinking of moving to wordpress cause I heard from lots of blogger that wordpress is very seo friendly and google loves wordpress. Is this true? Will my traffic increase if i shift to wordpress? Any suggestion

    They both have their advantages but honestly, wordpress is the best for SEO in my experience :)

    Wordpress is SEO friendly, yes. It can be a big help, but make sure you are prepared for a little bit of a 'shake-up' during the switch, and you may lose some placement in the SERPs for a short time

    If you are going to use it as external blog like using it by sub-domain like abc.wordpress, then I recommend you to stick with blogger. Wordpress will not give you access to edit the code or any other CSS and other PHP files. So you will be restricted to use only templates and few small features.

    Whereas, in Blogger you have freedom to edit your blog as you like. You can post Google analytics, verification meta, custom template and coding and much more.

    And if you are thinking to buying a domain and then host Wordpress, then it will be rocking. But only when you host it on your server with your domain name.

    But you do not copy & past same information in new Wordpress. Write your own new Information.

    Well , yes wordpress is good because it allows you to do a lot of things blogger wouldn't . Blogger on the other hand is not bad either a lot of sites in the ' Make money online' niche are blogger sites. So any platform when worked cleverly with can give you the desired output.

    Two things to decide at this moment:
    1. Do you want to make money from blog?
    2. Are you ready to lose some of your traffic?

    If you want to make money, you should go to self-hosted Wordpress blog. Moving from blogger is going to cause some loss of traffic and search engine ranking, but you can redirect readers from your old blog to new one, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. WP definitely has a robust design and SEO optimized. So if you are serious about blogging, go for it.
