Hello DP Members! I would like to ask a question and I hope to get some answers or suggestions from you guys.

    Here is my concern:

We are planning to change a website and redevelop it using WordPress. We successfully SEO the site and all the keywords are ranking properly. Though it will have the same domain name, my worry is that it will affect the Search Engine Optimization and keywords will drop from serp.

Will it really affect the keyword rankings? What can we do to prevent the ranks from dropping after transferring to WordPress.

It could mess with your SERPs, but I think it's a good move. Wordpress can really help you keep your markup clean and keep your URLs SEO-friendly. If you suffer some drops, ride it out for a quarter and see how you look. You might find yourself bouncing back to a better spot than you were previously provided you continue (or improve) any off-page optimization you were doing.
