I'm thinking of moving my smallish web hosting company to Site5 to help me provide a good service. What are your experiences with Site5? Are they good or bad? Do they provide what they say on the tin? Thanks!
I haven't experienced either. But if you want to pay yearly, lunarpages.com has an amazing $10/m plan. I would reccomend them over anything, their support is great.
I considered site5, as I've recently moved hosts but finally decided on WebCinch. I'd moved from hostdime.com after three years. Definatly think I made the correct decision & am more than happy with Webcinch so far. Before you move hosts, I'd recommend you do a search on webhostingtalk.com to see what others have to say.
I have several websites at Site5 for about year and half now, they had some ups and downs but in the past few months they upgraded there servers so its pretty stable, although I'm not familiar much with resellers packages. I also recommend WHT as best place to get feedback.
Site5 is great. I have been using them for over a year now. The service is great. Plus their custom coded cPanel interface called Backstage is really cool. The only issue with them is they have certain conditions regarding the hosted sites. They wont allow any kind of directories or simply linking scripts that doesnt have any content. But since yours is a company site, you shouldn't be having any problems with them. Their support is very fast too.
I am hoseted with Site5 and I love them!! They have great support and I moved there from Lunarpages because of their unlimited domain deal. All my sites have their own "cpanel" and I can either access them from my main site interface or I can log into each site individually. The one problem lately has been uptime.....My server has been down once or twice a week for the last month. (Not for long though...) Overall, I think they're GREAT!!
