I decided to move from Adsense to CJ, I would like to know, does the CJ have a ad matching option ? Does their ads matched to content of your site ? What is the average ratios , are those something reals and what is the range ?
I do not think they have ad matching like adsense. You go to site find products that fit your site and apply to be affiliate. They pay well and have some good programs so you should make more than adsense. Just keep trying products and see wich ones do best. I prefer them over adsense any day and any site.
To LanZord: That is the main reason why I decide to move out from adsense, looking for something like pay per action. To:rcj662 , what is the current conversion ratios range ? like 1:100 or 1:1000 or 1:10000 ? any ranges in average ?
CJ and adsense are nothing alike. Two totally different types of networks and technologies even. I would keep BOTH to be successful.
ok, I am just trying to figure out how much I can make with cj , if on adsense I was doing (before I got smartpriced) around 100$ per day with 100,000 impressions. so basicly 1$ per 1000 imp So if anybody could tell me what is the current ratios for action, like 1 sign up over 1000 clicks with 10$ per sign up or something similar , just any stat will be appreciated.
It all depends on the niche you are in. I've had conversion rates as high as 25% and some as low as less than 1%. With that much traffic, just put a few links up and see how they do over a couple of days, you'll have more personal data that way anyway.
Every merchant on CJ has a different earning rate. Some are higher and some are lower. It all depends on the industry and success of the merchant.
You can't predict that. You can make $1000 per 1000 imp or you can make $0 per 1000 imp, it all depends on the niche, and the type of traffic you are getting. The best advice to you is to keep adsense and run at the same time CJ, like DealWorx said.
Adsense is more steady and predictable. They do the work of matching ad to content but its automated so it's not finely tuned. I keep getting pottery plate ads showing on my number plate site! No one is going to click that! Affiliate gives you the power to place an advert that is of real interrest to your visitors, and therefore a good chance of them clicking. The hard part is finding a suitable ad. You will also loose some sales to javascript disabled, or cookies disabled, or sale made after 30 days, or they use the big telephone number on the website and do mail order instead etc. The headline figures paid for a sale look much better than Adsense, but are more erratic. I would gradually start to pick a few well targeted adverts and add them without changing your Adsense program.
I am a little new to the affiliate programs. I added adsense and cj to my website. Would anyone be willing to check it out for some feedback? This is my first website and I picked a template that had me pulling my hair out. I am not a web developer. generalpepper.com Thanks in advance
Hi, I am newbie in DP but have used both Adsense and CJ accounts. Their 'models' are quite different. Payment wise : Adsense - You earn whenever someone click on the "Adwords" ads. at your website. CJ - Usually paid commission only when someone BUY something through the adverts placed at your website (recognized via cookies). Not so familiar with CJ's payment for leads (e.g. clicks ONLY) Payment Amount : Adsense - Largely depends on how competitive the Keyword of the 'Adwords' is. CJ - Ranges with different vendors, usually a percentage of sale e.g. 5% of sale price. Adverts : Adsense - Google pushes "matching" adverts to your site AUTOMATICALLY. CJ - You have to go and find your own matching vendors and adverts with your site, you have to individually apply and get approved by the various vendors in CJ.
Hi! You could move to adsenese to adbrite for example, that systems are similar, but CJ is diffrent thant adsense, very different. You could try chitika also.
I would Advise you to go with Both CJ and Adsense. Both Are totally diffrent and having Both in your website can fetch you better earnings
