Im moving to a new hosting company...

I am trying to backup my databases at the current hosting and then transfer them to the new one....

How do I exactly do that?

Do I just go to phpMyAdmin and click "Export" and export everything?

    Thanks

    More or less.

Make sure you know which mysql version your new host uses, 4.xx is the most common. Save the exports in utf format. Make more than one backup just in case.

Also make sure you know the IP your current account is on in case you need to get back there after the dns resolves.

If you have cPanel you can easily back it up from there too.

Yes the best way to go is to download the database and then re upload it on the other website. It is easy. I think you already know what you are doing
