    Does any one know how to move a table with data from Mysql to Oracle?

    I mean I have columns datatype as Text in Mysql while Oracle does not have text type.

    I found a shareware app, you may try it, if it works it is seems cheap to buy.

    MySQL-to-Oracle is a program to move MySQL databases to Oracle server.

    Features

    * All MySQL data types and attributes are supported
    * Work with all versions of Unix and Windows MySQL servers
    * Merge MySQL data into an existing Oracle database
    * Command line support
    * Convert individual tables
    * Convert indexes with all necessary attributes
    * Convert foreign keys
    * Easy-to-use wizard-style interface
    * Full install/uninstall support

    Limitations

    * Does not convert stored procedures

    Requirements

    * At least 32 MB RAM
    * Oracle client and networking components must be installed on the same machine where you run MySQL-to-Oracle from
    * Necessary privileges to write into the destination database

    Try before you buy

    Still not sure the program fits your needs? Try free demo version with limited features. It will allow you to convert only five records for each database table. Test the quality of the demo and come back to place an order if satisfied with the results. Click here to download trial version of MySQL-to-Oracle converter.
