I have a PHP + HTML site built from scratch, about 2 years old and with great rankings. Is it dangerous to move it to Joomla, if I keep the exact same URL structure? The site has a very simple structure, and less than 10 pages.
Hi, If you could keep the original URL structure and URLs, it would be no negative impacts regarding off page SEO but Google would re-index your 'new' page since page contents would definitely be changed. all the best,
I suggest you to use Wordpress rather than Joomla simply because Wordpress offers lot more in term of SEO. I've tried Joomla before and it's not that good when it comes to ranking. Even a site using PHP + HTML is much better ranking than Joomla.
yes, today wordpress web engine is the best, there are a lot of plugins that helpful for seo where we can't get at joomla or other cms
As long as you don't change the permalink structure and name, it will be fine. Make sure to install proper plugins and claim your blog in Google Webmaster, Analytics too.
