Moving site from godday to new box

    Hey all, I hope this is posted in the right place.

    I need some help, I am trying to transfer sites from godaddy hosting to a new dedicated box. What is the best way to do this, I couldnt find any where in godaddy to do a complete backup and then I was going to ssh into to the new server.

    I was following the instructions HERE

    But again, I cannot find anywhere in godaddy's hosting manager where to do a complete backup.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I don't think there is one. You will have to do this the hard way via FTP.

    Do any of your sites use a database?

    If No then the process is pretty simple.

    Yes, every site I have on godaddy has a database.
