Moving Schedule Tasks to a new server

can any1 tell me whether its possible to copy/script schedule tasks on 1 server to a new server and not have to manually set them up???? Is there a file in which they are stored which can be copied straight over?

I'm not sure about version 5, as I no longer have a copy running locally, but in version MX and MX7 the scheduled tasks are stored in a file called /lib/neo-cron.xml. Check the LIB directory of your CF installation for this file. If it exists, you should be able to copy it to your new installation. (make a backup copy of the old version first, just in case!).

 

thanks for that, had read about that file in Mx but it isn't present in CF5 unfortunately.

I don't - if I had a version of CF5 I would install it here and look around, but I do not, so it is hard for me to say. You might want to take this one to the Adobe forums.
