Moving Pages - Crawlability - Retaining Page PR/Age

    Hello,

    I want to clarify something.

Let's say page home dot com/xyx dot html is taken off the main page and but not deleted so there's no link from the home page to that page but it still exists. It will lose all of its history correct (if its no where to be found - no page is linking to it)?

However, if the link can be found under let's say home dot com/about, will page home dot com/xyx dot html retain its history since the page can be crawled?

I am asking this because I have an ecommerce store and I'm not ready to launch a product yet but it is already crawled and has a page rank of 2. I would like to keep it.

    is this making any sense?

    Thanks for your help.

Don't worry about the existing page having PR2. If you are releasing a product and its an important page, just make sure to link it from the home page.

This page has PR 2 and is linked with about us page...

First of all, make it a dofollow page, so that it allows PR sculpting.

Second thing, this page may lose its PR after PR update... Since all the backlinks are now gone.
