I posted in the webhosting postings with my cloud vps offerings. As that would be the correct forum.

It got moved to cheap stuff, and i was given an infraction. Now i have been given infractions for post back
for a couple of months now. Plus my post was no cheaper was more expensive than this one

    Why am i being penalized?

Sales threads offering items for five dollars or below belong in cheap stuff.

When you see threads that violate our posting guidelines click on the bad post report and they will be handled as soon as we get to them.

So basically all threads selling monthly plans for less then 5 USD per month should be in the Cheap Stuff section even though they are 100% hosting?

I completely understand this for basically all other services or products but makes no sense with hosting products for me...

Indeed that is the case as is the case for those selling digital goods or services for five dollars or less.

There probably will be some changes to the "cheap stuff" guidelines once iTrader is gone and replaced with Instant Pay... but yeah... for *now*, we are bound by the limitations of iTrader, so that's why there are some less than ideal rules like that.
