One of my sites is a content site with forums, but I'd like to make it into just a forum site.

Right now I have 580 links in google from just the forums.

Should I just redirect my mysite.com to mysite.com/forums?

or should I move the whole forums to mysite.com.... and if I do this, will I ruin all of my google results?

Personally, but dont take my word for it, I would forward mysite.com to /forums. This will keep all of your current rankings. Also, if you ever want to add anything to the main site you can.

Redirect your site's main page (yoursite.com) to yoursite.com/forums

If you need help with this PM me and I'll be happy to help you.
