Moving Hosts, with cPanel

    Is it possibly to directly and easily transfer data from one host to another?

    Just download a back up from Host A, and upload it to Host B?

    If they are both using cPanel, I believe so yes. I personally wouldn't recommend it simply because cPanel still has many bugs, but I think it's possible.

    oh....I just don't want to sit around making sure a 1 gb file gets uploaded.

    ugh last time I moved my forum, i cut the file into 100 pieces and uploaded each one manually.

    I did a 4GB backup and restore without any real problems. Just be patient it can take a while.
