Moving home .. most stressful thing you'll do?

    I'm in the process of moving both home and my business, before I started I had a full head of hair, now I'm balding and going grey.

    Any tips to make the transaction between old and new home easier?

    I love moving house. I´ve moved house about 20 times and moved country 3 times and no... I´ve never been in the services. Would you like me to come and lend a hand Darren?

    Don't do it, I did it three years ago, same as you house/businesses and it was tough, plus the fact I bought an old house that needed work so we had to live through some construction/decoration for months and months, nightmare.

    You'll get the RoyalMail to forward all mail on to you for 3-6 months which is handy, make sure necessary things like phone lines/broadband are sorted in advance and make sure the fridge has alcohol stored for stressful evenings when you can't find anything, good luck!

    You have my sympathy. I just moved - just got back online last night. The house is a mess of boxes still, so most of my days are spent unpacking. This was my third move in eight months, so I really hope this one sticks. Landlord only gave us a 6 month lease after initially talking about wanting a year lease - my income coming from a home business makes her nervous.

    Yes, forgot about the tips part. Throw away everything that you haven´t looked at for a year. If it has dust an inch thick you do not need it!
