Moving from vb 4.0 to ???

    Hi All,

    I have a dead forum on an active vb4 license. I want to move it to a free forum package (mybb, phpbb, smf) to free up the vb license.
    The vb forum is also using vbseo.

    Can anybody recommend which forum software will it be the easiest to move to and if there are any migration tools to do that for me.

    ok I sorted myself out. Moved to mybb, ran the mybb migrate to move most of the data and used some SQL scripting to move the rest of the stuff over. all done and running fine.

    If you dont want to use the 4.x, you can try 'downgrade' it to 3.x
