    hi friends

From today onwards i want to move from blogspot to custom domain. Can anybody tell me what will happen to my readers and the links that i have posted till now. I have made more than 850 posting till now and i get traffic about 4k on an avaerage. I have heard somewhere that it results in massive dip in traffic. My site earlier was indexed in 10 minutes only . What will happen now.. WHether it be considered a new site or that old one only. my present website page rank is 2 ..whether it will go to 0. Any information related to it will be great helpful.

ANd finally the last question , I have registered my adsense account with this blog, WHether i have to apply fresh adsense or it will work it will keep showing the ads or not....

    Than in advance

I would keep your Blogspot blog separate from any new website you would create. You can use it as a valuable link building tool if it is popular as you say, and it can help route traffic. Starting a new website in a similar niche will help you better practice SEO and dominate SERPs.

I've used the same adsense code on all of my websites, I doubt it'd be a problem.

A single adsense account will be enough for all your sites and blogs while creating a duplicate account will land you in trouble.

You should keep your blogspot updated. Use it to build up some back links to your main site. It shouldn't take long to update both with similar content.

If you don't keep making updates to your blogspot you will lose traffic and rankings.

1 Adsense account will work for all sites you own.

    Keep your blog on blogspot

Moving your site will results in a huge loss of SERP's which will mean your blog posts will take forever to be indexed and all you backlinks will have to be rebuilt!

Unless your looking to sell your blog stick with blogspot, youd be better of getting a custom theme and leaving your blog on blogspot.

Keep you blogspot, meanwhile you can create a link to your new site or write an article to lead readers to new site.

If you are using Blogger Custom domain name feature then blogger will redirect the old blogspot pages to new custom domain name page....

You can use the same adsense account on all of your websites and blogs. And I would suggest you just keep on updating the blogger blog which is performing really well

keep your blog then make another site, by that way you could earn more...
Just keep fresh contents flowing on both of your blog and site... You can use a single account on Adsense to all of your site and blog...

It will result in a massive dip because your submissions to blog farms and such will all mean nothing unless you redirect. And most don't want to wait out the redirect.
