Moving from Blogger to Wordpress, Adsense and other issues

Hello, I got a Blog with a domain name. I'm on Blogger and I host it over there and don't buy the hosting service from outside. Also, Adsense is already embedded in Blogger, so no issues with it too. But, now I'm planning to move to Wordpress for a better Theme or Template. Now my problems or questions are:

    1) How do I insert Adsense in Wordpress without paying it for the service?
    2) Do I have to buy the hosting services or do Wordpress also offers Free service like Blogger? Does it have limits compared to Blogger, as I have now I don't have any bandwidth issues with Blogger.
    3) Do I have any other 'hidden' charges with Wordpress?

I think I'll post some more questions later as I get them.

    Thanks.

WordPress? WordPress is free. Themes/templates are free for the asking - over 3,000 of them. You should be able to find what you need. Basically, it's open source.

Some themes are "AdSense Ready". There's also a plugin for including AdSense. It all costs nothing. I don't use the plugin, since I modify the templates to place the ads exactly where I want them.

If you don't have one, you'll have to get your own host, preferably one with cPanel and Fantastico for easy installation. You can find a good cheap host. Bluehost or Hostmonster come to mind. Be sure to use a proper .htaccess file and robots.txt file, since there are dup content issues with WordPress.

Hidden charges? Gosh, I don't know of anything. If you want your own customized theme/template, then you're beginning to talk some money.

Yeah, Wordpress is pretty easy to customize, but it has some issues.
Personally, I prefer Wordpress since you can make it look like a static website.

You can not use the wordpress blogs with adsense on them on free hosting, like you used to do with blogger.
If you want to move to wordpress and have free hosting, then you are not allowed with adsense.
If you want to move to wordpress and have adsense, then you should buy a hosting.
That's it, hopefully it clarifies everything.

I'm not sure you'll want the cheapest, but, as I mentioned, Bluehost and Hostmonster are both cheap and good.
