Moving from blogger to private hosting

hi there. i'm currently planning to move my old blog to my own private hosting on vicsav.com

i was wondering if there are faster way to move all the posts intead of copy paste everything

Be sure to back up your old blog. Do a zip file on it. Upload the zip file in the www file folder in the file manager of your Cpanel. Than extract option on the zip file.

There are few ways to do it. This is just one way.

 

Install WordPress at vicsav.com. WordPress have option to transfer your posts from blogspot blogs.

 

the old one is blogger. i'm using wordpress 2.1.3 now. are they of the same format?

 

but they cant import posts from new blogger. they can only do it with old blogger

 

Do you have fantastico in your Cpanel. If so click on fanctastico, in the right hand column you will see the word press option.

 

From your WordPress Admin section click on "Import" tab then "Blogger and Blogspot".

Then you to enter your blogger user id and password. and follow the steps.

 

the only blooger like option is : Import Old Blogger

while i'm using the new blogger.
