I am showing Adsense ads on the site in my SIG.

But am really thinking of moving to Chitika,, In fact I think I will.
Has anyone made the same move, and did it work out ?

i suggest you remove the adsense ads and try Chitika, if the result is not good, you can still go back to adsense
you will never know the result without try it out

This is a low paying niche. Mostly CPC is under 1$. However, your ad placement is not giving you a high CTR.
I don't think you can expect a lot from Chitika too. Anyway, just give a try and see how it works with Chitika.
If you get lot of traffic I suggest to try CPM based programs. Additionally, try to promote CPA offers of peerfly and CPAlead.

I wrote a few posts about Chitika HERE and HERE ..
Basically for me, it never paid anywhere near what Adsense pays, but it is always worth trying to see how it performs on your site.

@ saldriass , I don't need help,, But thanks for the offer,, BTW, site is in my SIG.

Just looking around to see what other networks are out there,,

I have now removed adsense,, and will give Chitika a run for a month,, I can always go back if I need to.
Might post back here later with my findings..

Why you can do this. Adsense is 100% batter then Chitika. So keep it up the adsense ads beacuse it is most profitable for you and you think batter for future.

If I were you I wouldn't. You're going to be disappointed. Chitika or any other PPC program should be the last resort after AdSense, not the first. They all pretty much suck.

If it's the website in your sig, the placement is good. But why not to use a text ad 728X90 right under your navigation? Just center it so that it would the first thing people see when they visit it.

Oops, I just realized that it's a drop down menu that you have there. Google doesn't want ads under drop down menus. In my opinion 728X90 ads perform the best.

Chitika is good only if your website have US/CA visitors.
Adsense is the best advt program.

adsense is the best... if you play by their rules...

Would be better is adsense had good customer support!

I used chitika in a past and I think they have/had fixed price per click which was really low - around 15 cents. The way their ads organized, they are more eye catching and my CTR was higher vs Adsense, but earning much lower.

This is an old thread I started back in June..
You will note there is no longer a site in my sig..

I did try chitika for a few days,, the earnings were way down on Adsense.

I moved from 728 and 300 banners to 468x15 and 728x15 link units,, and earnings more than tripled as did clicks..
In the end my small site went from $15 per month to over $40,, I sold it recently...
