Moving domains to new IP?

Wondering if this is possible and if there are any side-effects in regards to SE.

Say I have a number of sites that have good traffic, good PR's, good links, etc ...

Most of them are sitting on a server with the same IP and at times have links pointing back and forth to each other ...

Is it better to move a couple of them to new IP's - if so, any negative effects to this? I don't see why not, but then again ...

I've tried searching, can't find anything online in regards to this ...

    Thanks!

    :)

I think opinions are all over the place on this one. I've personlly not seen any problems with many on 1 IP, but I feel much better interlinking when I have unique IP for each site. I've mixed my sites up so about 1/2 have unique and rest share a few ip's.
