Moving Domain

    I recently changed the domain of a large forum site, and forwared all pages from the old domain to the new one using a 301. About 20,000 pages of the old are still indexed in Google.. The old and new domain have PR4. How long does it according to your experience take until all pages of the old domain are removed from the index?

    In the google webmaster tools, theres a URL removal tool which would speed up the process for you

    Google will eventually drop them...It might take a few months...

    Who has time to remove 20,000 pages with the url removal tool?:rolleyes:
