Hi, this is my first post, and I recently started a wordpress movie site. I've been manually posting the info of the movie plus the trailer. Is there an easier way to do this? What plugins or scrapers do I need? I want the best plugin or scraper that can give me the most on info on an imdb site. Also how are those bootleg movies sites able to have 20,000-40,000 movies? I want my work to be less tedious. I don't mind paying for some type of work to be able to do this. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Hey welcome Alpine to Digitalpoint. This is a great forum and you will feel part of the community. I started off doing movie websites on wordpress but my God, it was tough. You need a lot of time and what I found is that wordpress is an excellent platform for like an Authority website with dozens or more unique articles or blogs but the movie websites never worked for me on that platform.
They are stealing and infringing on copyright. They are nothing but install sites. Those aren't free movie, "out of the goodness of my heart", movie sites. They know that some people can't resist and they are the easiest targets to install malware scripts on your computer. But most people learn that the hard way.

There are a few good imdb plugins available through the wordpress plugin repository, but if you want a really good one get it custom built.
