What king videos do you want to edit? Or for what?
For Homevideos i would use Magix. It has many presets, effects and design templates.
If the result must be professional, than i would use "Premiere". This software can edit uncompressed Video (SDI)in 10Bit. For homevideos is Premiere not qualified. Vegas too.

    Hi,

I want a cheap program for homevideos. I downloaded the trial of movie edit pro yesterday and it seems to be quite good so far.
Maybe I'll write a review in a week or something like that :)

    hello,

so, finally I tried the trialversion of Movie Edit Pro out and: It's great!
I'd say the handling is extremely easy, you have a lot of working symbols which are self-explaining and make editing so very easy too :)

What I also like is that there are enough features/content keep the tension, I dont like programs, which are "exhausted" after 2-3 weeks..

In brief: good software, good price, easy handling, good for beginners!

btw. attached please find a comparison between MAGIX and Adobe
(Another reason why I chose Movie Edit Pro

Movie Vegas is good in Movie Editing as long as you
have the money on your pocket. Its expensive.
MuVee is what I am using. I got it free from my friend.
